Have you been in an auto accident?

Automobile accidents can result in injuries ranging from mild cuts and abrasions to broken bones and severe whiplash. Physical therapy can help in your recovery from an accident by reducing pain and inflammation and restoring your range of motion.

Physical therapy’s goal is to maximize your recovery and minimize any residual problems you may experience following your motor vehicle accident. This is achieved by:

  • Teaching you about the stages of healing from your motor vehicle accident.

  • Guiding you through each stage, providing appropriate clinical and home intervention

  • Assisting you in achieving maximum recovery from your motor vehicle accident and full return to an active lifestyle.

  • Evaluating the joints, muscles, and nervous system and working to determine the best individualized treatment program for your injury.

  • Guiding you through the critical stages of healing

  • Monitoring the postural alignment of your neck and back and working to re-establish correct alignment during the healing process.

Med Pay Benefits

These benefits are funds on auto policies that cover medical expenses related to motor vehicle accidents, i.e. PCP’s, specialists, physical therapy, ER, hospital stays, labs, orthopedic devices, ambulance, etc. Often people only opt for the default $2000 on their policy but it be increased to anywhere from $5000-50,000. Generally, immediate bills like ER visits, ambulance, and first doctor’s visit are submitted to be paid using these funds. This must be monitored closely when limits are $5,000 or less, as fees can use this up quickly, especially if multiple providers are being paid from the same funds.
