Felicia Files, PTA

Felicia has always wanted to work with people, especially people on the coast of Maine. She graduated from Bowdoin College with a bachelor’s degree in English. She became interested in Physical Therapy while working with physically, mentally, and behaviorally challenged children as a Special Education Teacher Assistant and Teacher in Portland, Waldoboro, and Freeport. Felicia earned an associate’s degree in physical therapy from Kennebec Valley Community College. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, she specialized in Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT), taking more than 25 IMT courses and logging thousands of clinical experience hours. In 2004-2007, Felicia incorporated Polarity and Massage therapy into her treatment techniques, completing Spa Tech Institute’s Holistic Massage and Registered Polarity Practitioner programs. Having relocated from Portland to the Midcoast area, she continues to enjoy her yoga & Tai Chi practices, walking with her dog, gardening, and supporting clients to achieve optimal health and wellbeing.

When you visit our practice, after being seen and evaluated by a Physical Therapist, based on the care plan established, you may have the opportunity to work with this absolute wizard of a practitioner.
