Throughout the stages of recovery, cardiovascular exercise can be beneficial as it improves blood flow to the brain which can facilitate the healing process. In cases of physical or cognitive fatigue, we often recommend short sessions of cardiovascular exercise, such as walking or gentle stretches.

Our exertion program is designed to gradually introduce an increased workload to your cardiovascular system. This can help patients who experience symptoms during or after exercise, or who are having problems with autonomic nervous system control.

We understand how challenging it can be to deal with the effects of a concussion. That's why our team is here to support you through your journey to recovery.
