If you are reading this, you have direct access to a Physical Therapist at Snow Sport and Spine!

Current recommendations for treating back pain include starting with activity modification, and active treatments like physical therapy. Research backs this up, showing better outcomes and lower costs with early physical therapy interventions.

Unfortunately, only 2% of people with back pain start with physical therapy, and only 7% schedule a physical therapy visit within 90 days of onset of their symptoms.

The likelihood of acute back pain becoming chronic is decreased with early action.

Beyond that, after completing physical therapy, you will be better prepared to independently manage and prevent further injury.
